I'm over halfway through this craptastic quarter. It's only craptastic because it I have a "Composition class" I hate being forced to write as if I was still in a High School English class. At least have me write about legitimate stuff instead of testing my ability to bs my way through endless pages about someone else's writing. I'm tired of dissecting news clippings and one sided essays. I've aced the papers I have turned in... hoping to find a balance to get me past the class.
Linux class is fine.. its basic and the labs are too short... I learn to fast. But I guess it is just an introduction to Linux... hopefully the administration class will be more involving.
The other random network class is severely outdated... good thing is: the teacher realizes the staleness of the criteria so we usually end up talking about modern utilities or his real-world experience ( he's with information security for the State) So we talk about ways to get into the field , and even how to pick what field to go into.
Anyways I've been overdosing on CSS with

Cal clan [don't worry I'm just a filler].. so I've been focusing on that instead of crappy homework or practicing drawing.
Once CAL season is over I'll be able to back off of CSS for a bit, to practice drawing with all the awesome books I got for Christmas from

Hmm on the gaming subject I have made a few purchases/acquirements recently:
New Altec Lansing speakers
HP 22" widescreen LDC Monitor - 5 m/s response time 1000:1 true Contrast ratio 3000:1 dynamic (kicks total ass)
Razer Deathadder gaming mouse
Razer eXactMat High response gaming mouse pad - there's just something inherently baddass about a solid chunk of aluminum coated on both sides for Speed or Control
The only thing I'm still eying up is a new pair of headphones... the ones I have now aren't the best for sound-location and they mash my ears against my head... gets uncomfortable after a few hours.
